Please follow our guidelines below to maintain a safe forum for everyone.

General Guidelines:
  • Respectful Conduct: All members are expected to behave respectfully and courteously towards each other. Please refrain from using offensive language, harassment or discrimination towards others.
  • Your Safety First: Should you wish to meet with fellow travellers to ensure your safety and that of others meet in public places. Consider informing a friend of your intentions or meetups, or even taking one along with you.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Encourage participation from members of all backgrounds and interests. We want to make sure that everyone feels welcome and included in these interactions.
  • No Solicitation: Refrain from using meetups for commercial purposes or to promote products or services.
  • Keep it Fun: The primary goal of meetups is to have fun and connect with other members.
Specific Guidelines for Organizing Meetups:
  • Clear Communication: Clearly communicate the date, time, location, and purpose of the meetup. Use a clear subject line for your forum post.
  • Accessibility: Choose a location that is easily accessible to all members, considering factors such as transportation and parking.

  • Flexibility: Members you wish to meet may be busy ofr have full time jobs. Thus you should be prepared to adjust meeting plans if necessary. You should also allow members that wish to meet you to suggest alternative activities or locations.

  • Be Open-Minded: Try new things and meet people outside of your comfort zone.
